1 bottle makes 1 frame

We invented a way to recycle the plastic from one discarded 600ml single-use bottle into an entire frame, arms & hinges. No screws, no metal. 100% recycled frame.

Each frame is fitted with premium Carl Zeiss Vision lenses. This German company has been around since 1846, so they know a thing or two about eye protection!

You can buy sunglasses, prescription & reading glasses.

Aside from the bottle the frames are made of, each pair stops 28.5 plastic bottles from reaching a waterway and 10kg of CO2 from reaching the atmosphere.

This idea was born in 2018. Harry (8) & Archie (6) were upset about all the plastic waste piling up in the world.

Two months later, a plan was in place to help untrash the planet®

We scribbled down four guiding principles:

1) Only use 100% recycled materials
2) Make products that last
3) Don't exploit people or the planet
4) Employees get time with their kids or loved ones.

To this day the kids still make decisions in the business.

I saw these advertised online and thought I’d give them a go based on the style and the fact that they’re made from recycled materials.
Great fit, style and lenses. Loved the sunglass bag: we’re just back from a family trip so Sydney which included Bondi so the pictures of the ocean baths (is it Icebergs?) was a big hit.
